This is a commissioned recreation, of a Stuart Immonen X-Men cover. I used india ink and brush, on 17x22 bristol.

man.. it is a recreation! do you have ANY idea of who is Gary Martin?... do you realize WHO is this guy? HE IS A BEAST MAN!!.. HE IS FREAKING AWESOME!! yes, he does a lot of recreations but he is a damn good professional! check his original stuff!! just take a look at it!! and don't compare the just the holding lines! take a look at the cross-hatching, at the little details or little dots! those are not the same! it may look similar, but that is the point of a recreation! every time you mention photo manipulation you make it sound like there's a magic button that does all the work.. do you actually know who hard it would be to "just get rid of the color"?.. huuh...
